RESELLER SUCCESS CASE: City government

CLIENT NEEDS: A city government needed to record Fire department, Ambulance, and Police analog lines and radio channels. Each department of the city had to have access to only their own departmental recordings even though all recordings needed to be saved in one network storage location. The customer’s analog lines were old and their prior call recorder could not handle the voltage differences resulting in the need to trigger recording by voice activation.

WHY THEY WANTED A NEW RECORDER: The city decided to replace their existing call recorder because they were losing too many calls to the failings of voice activation and were losing large amounts of time trying to find recordings without search options for Caller ID, dialed number, or time of the day.

HOW THE DEAL WAS CLOSED: Versadial provided the Online Demo and the client immediately found the software easy to navigate and work with. The various search parameters, reporting and tiered access permission levels exceeded their expectations. The Versadial solution was quoted for $10-$14k less than quotes from competing solutions and the deal was closed.

SERVICE: After installation, Versadial completed the installation and training in only a couple hours. Versadial overcame the voltage issues on the old analog lines because half were reversed or very low to sporadic voltage coming through on each line. Versadial Solutions was able to adjust on a per channel basis to correctly trigger recordings with the various line conditions given.

CLIENT FEEDBACK: The client was very happy with the unlimited seat licenses of the remote access software. The remote access software let the client password protect and provide individual access to the Fire department, Police, and Ambulance services, all having access to their own analog lines and radio calls. The client was extremely happy, and thankful for the quick support provided.

NEW SOFTWARE UPDATE

VS Logger 3.4 has been released as a minor update. Along with ongoing improvements to compatibility and supported PBXs there are 3 new features to version 3.4:
